Ireland-Dubln and Dingle?

Hi there! Here is the plan: Fly into Dublin from Paris. Rent car. Drive to Dingle Peninisula. Stay in B&B for 3 nights. Drive to Dublin. Stay in B&B in Dublin for 4 nights. Fly home to US. What do you think? I know NOTHING about the Dingle area and would LOVE suggestions or thoughts on this itinerary....PLEASE!! Thanks for any help!!

Sounds like a perfectly good plan. You can turn your rental car in when you get back to Dublin on day 4, as you won't want it there.

Thanks a million, all of you! Yes, we definitely will fly into this other airport you suggested, and we will definitely stay another night along the way! And I am going to look up Kilkenny (spelling?) right away!! And thanks also for pointing out the misplaced post. I am a novice, as you can certainly tell!! ;)

I suggest you fly from Beauvais to Shannon on Ryanair and then drive to Dingle. This way you won't have to cross the country twice. If you have time, spend a night on the road between Dingle and Dublin. Kilkenny would be a good place to stay.

Shelley,

You might get more suggestions on Dingle and Ireland destinations by posting this in the "To The North" forum that covers that area.

Happy travels!
