I'll take my 8G iPod Nano to The Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland. I'd like to buy a wall charger for it -- should I buy one On-line before going or buy one over there? If there, what would be a store in Amsterdam where I could find one?

Buy it before you go from an Apple store (www.apple.com), that way you know it will be compatable. You won't need an addition converter, as they are built in, but you will need a plug addapter, easy to get at a travel store or Rick has them here on his site.

I just bought one from fry's for under $15. It was not an apple one. i have already used it and it appeared to work well. This one is good because it supports 240v, so I won't need a convertor for it.
