Any suggested app's for iPhone 5 using GPS maps "off line?" Germany and Italy are on my itinerary. Danke

Either Navigon or Tomtom. Doesn't matter which one, both are good.

Had very good experience with Garmin StreetPilot for Western Europe even though the graphics are bait cartoonish. We used it with an iPad, not an iPhone. Not sure if that would make a difference. The program cost $99 and offered free updates for life and it has automatically updated at least twice over the last year.
