Okay, I'm traveling primarily to Baumholder but need internet access while in Germany. Is this a lost cause in a small town? Where does one go? What can I expect? Thanks,

There are plenty of Internet Cafes in the area, e.g. the Internet Cafe Rustikal in the beautiful town of Kusel, just 8km from Baumholder. Google for Internet Cafes (sometimes spelled as one word in German) in the area.
