Inter-Europe Airlines

I've tried Ryan Air and Aegean Air. We are traveling to Paris, Rome, Athens and Prage. Any recommendations on other budget airlines? How far in advance to you recommend purchasing tickets? We are going in September.

Kimi....you can find destination pairings for budget airlines at www.whichbudget.com. Be sure to double-check them with the "big boys" that may fly the same routes, since the competition offered by budget airlines can force prices at the major carriers down on those routes....and the big companies may offer better schedules. As for booking....the sooner, the better. Prices will rise as the cheaper tickets are sold off early.

Definatley start looking at booking fares now,, september is still a very busy and popular travel month.
I booked Vueling for Rome - Paris, I have used Tuifly for Paris - Hanover,, I have used Airberlin for Germany- England.

All were fine. Watch out about the luggage restrictios, they are very strict and charge through the nose for extras, this is the same for all budget airlines.
In some cases you may have to book a return ticket but not use the return leg for one way travel, otherwise it can be expensive for one way tickets. YOu cannot do this on the same airline twice in a row though or they will catch you.
