RS mentioned purchasing an [INVALID]able phone card and where to get it. Please elaborate how much they cost, are they sold by minutes, etc? Thank you!

Which country? In Switzerland, you can buy phonecards in 5-CHF increments to use in the red Swisscom phone booths. But you can also just insert your VISA card and it charges the same rate. A display shows the running charge and it isn't much.
