Inexpensive but nice Pension in Berlin-- Unter Den Linden area

Does anyone have an inexpensive (+- 75 Euros for a double) pension or similar place in the Unter Den Linden neighborhood? We'd like to spend out time in Berlin at the Pergamon Museum, Brandenburg Gate, Former Berlin Wall, and that area. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

jeff, It's not exactly in the Unter Den Linden area, but you might have a look at Pension Peters. It's located between Savignyplatz and Bahnhof Zoo, so very convenient access to transportation via S-Bahn or U-Bahn. It's located in a nice area, with good restaurants and other facilities. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Happy travels!

Hi! I had good luck staying in the baxpax hostel just north of Unter den Linden. It is a hostel designed for 20-somethings like myself, but they have smaller, private rooms on upper floors that my mom liked when I brought her there last summer!

Hi, You might try something near Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse since that is only a few blocks from Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate, Pariser Platz, "and that area." Next to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten is the Motel One, but that might be too far for you.

Jeff, I stayed in an apartment last year for about that price. The place I stayed was near Rosenthaler Platz u-bahn. I stayed in the Capri studio. The owner is very easy to do business, takes credit cards, and takes short bookings. He has a number of flats in the area. Berlin Habitat I posted a review on tripadvisor. I liked the area ... lots of small shops and cafes and just a 20 minute walk to Hackescher Markt and the Museum Insel.
