I purchased a creamer pitcher with a "thumb lift" pewter lid and a picture, hand painted?, of the Ludendorff bridge. It got broken and I am hoping to find another. I bought it at a Thrift store in Bonn in 2010.

It's probably a long shot, but you could contact Replacements (www.replacements.com) which specializes in finding replacement pieces for china, crystal, silver, etc. If there is a manufacturer's name or symbol on the piece, that will help them find it for you. If it is just a tourist type mass-marketed piece, it may be much harder to locate another....other than checking ebay (especially the European ebay site) from time to time. Good luck...........you'll most likely stumble upon one right when you have given up your search.
