We are now in Paris and didnt book tickets to the tower in advance. (tickets are now obviously sold out)Can anyone please suggest any guided tours to Eiffel tower? This way, I'm hoping we can take the tour and still get to see the tower. Thanks in advance.
Oh,, why not just go 1/2 hr before it opens,, standing in line that early won't kill you and it will save you alot of money. Or take stairs up, its cheaper and line is shorter,, I have done it and am not a fitness freak. Paying to take a tour just to avoid a line that could only be 1/2 hr to 45 minutes long seems like a bit of overkill to me, but hey, if you have the budget for that try Cityrama or Parisvisions, both have english websites and offices right across from Louvre and Tuilleries Gardens on Rue Du Rivoli.
I'm with Pat on this one. I was in Paris in May. We bought our Eiffel Tower tickets online prior to trip. But you can go early in the morning and buy a ticket for that night. It is 8 euros and goes to the mid -level where you get the best views. You will still have to stand in line and they won't let you get in line until the time on your ticket.
http://www.paris-trip.com/tours.asp?id=18 I took this trip. It's a bit pricey, but it was a perfect opening day for me in Paris and really helped me get acclimated to the city.
hi everyone, thinking about Eiffel Tower tickets in advance and wanted to know if you think visiting in the morning vs the evening is better? any thoughts?
