I will be living in Paris for on year. I wanted to know if there are any museum passes that one can buy that might cover a longer period of time than the 6 day pass you suggested in your book "Paris 2012". I am 18 so I do not qualify for free entry in some of the museums, correct?

Why will you be in Paris? If as a student at a French university, you may be eligible for a student discount or pass.

The first Sunday of each month the museums are free. They are also a zoo on those days because so many people want to go for free! If there is a specific museum you want to spend a lot of time at, such as the Louvre, they might have a membership that allows you to go for free after the membership fee is paid.
