I will be in Madrid for 5 hours layover. How easy is transportation from airport. I want to see just a bit of Spain instead of being cooped up in the airport. Would tha be a wise decision to leave the airport? It would be noonish. I was hoping to go for lunch somewhere. Thanks

Might be tight on time. traffic is very heavy in and out of airport.

5 hours is cutting it very close, especially with tight security measures. I would just stay put in the airport.
