Yes, I actually did back in '07! Check tripadvisor for the latest reviews. I was quite happy with it then as it was my first trip to Paris. I requested and received a room on a higher floor with an Eiffel Tower view and enjoyed the lights every evening. The metro and cafes were close by. I have been back twice to Paris since then and have stayed in a more central location though, in the 5th and the 1st, and those are better locations in terms of walking distance to sights.
