iamsterdam card

Trying to figure out if it is worth buying...we will be in Amsterdam for just under a week (2 adults, 2 kids: 12, 14). We will want to hit a couple museums, mayne bike/bus/canal tour, and a day trip to Volendam?Marken.
Any advice welcomed

The most important thing to consider is whether you will be using the trams enough to cover the cost, as the price includes a transit pass. I used the 72 hour card a few weeks ago, visited a lot of attractions/museums/exhibits, took advantage of the included canal boat ride, two of the 25% discounts, used the trams extensively as I was traveling with someone who is 72 years-old, and when I added it all up after I got home I saved a lot of money with the card. But the only way figure out if its economical for your trip is to do a rough itinerary of which attractions you want to visit...total the admission prices, and add-in the number of tram rides you're likely to take @ two euros per ride.

We used the pass this past May when visiting with our 11 year old grandson and found it was well worth the price, seeing that we used the pass for the trams and the museums.
Anne Frank House and the Nemo museum are not included, however, are well worth the time to visit. We used Rick's suggestion to come after 6 for the Anne Frank house, and the line was maybe 10 people long and not around the block as it was during the day. Our grandson really enjoyed the Nemo along with the Rijks and Van Gogh, plus the canal tour.

You can also reserve the Anne Frank House online and bypass all the lines.
