I am looking for a good map of Paris that indicate streets and metro/buses lineas... so far in the internet I had found the metro maps but doesn't shows all the streest on it...

Hi Gilberto,
A friend of mine who used to live in Paris suggested that once I arrive I should get myself a little pamphlet called, "Paris Par Arrondissement," available at most local news stands... Just ask once you arrive.
He said it's invaluable to getting around, and even though it's in French, all you need is detailed maps with street names, nearest metro stations, etc., right?
You can google it (as I did), but if you purchase it from the States, it's double or triple it's cost. I'm leaving for Paris next week, and that's what I plan to do.

If you can't find what you need in a PDF, try the Penguin Paris Mapguide by Michael Middleditch. I've got these mapguides for three cities, and I wouldn't travel without them.

In addition to those free maps that are available everywhere in Paris... I also like the Streetwise maps (sold in the travel sections of most bookstores). They're laminated, fold easily, and include a Metro map, if the city has a Metro system. The Streetwise Paris map doesn't show the entire city, but covers most of the areas of interest to a casual tourist.
