There will be a huge all-day Rhine river front beach party with live music and other show acts taking place on the river front just outside the old town of Mainz. The event is organized by a Palatinate state TV and radio station (SWR) and admission is free.

There are lawns that act like a beach. It's right around the area of the bridge to Mainz-Kastell. You can view the pictures on the website.
