We are going to spend 3 nights in Cochem in June. We'll be coming from Amsterdam and stopping at Cologne to check out cathedral on the way so won't arrive til late afternoon on first day. We were planning on spending 1 full day in Trier, and the other day just checking out Cochem, and maybe taking the bus to Beilstien. However, now I'm thinking time might be better spent going to the Rhine for the day to check out Marksburg. Or any other suggestions? We spent 3 nights in Bacharach on a previous trip so have already been to Rheinfels, and Burg Eltz
