how to get to RER station from CDG, terminal 1

Hi
I am going to Paris in the morning and arriving at CDG, terminal 1 and want to catch the RER into Paris. With the new construction, I get different information when I search this site. I see Bus #1, airport shuttle from terminal 1 leaves from the shopping level (level one, I guess),which goes to Terminal 2 TGV-RER. Is this the best way? Isn't there also a RER station at Termainal 3? Would this be better? How do I get there? I have looked on the web site:bonjourlafrance.net/air-france/parischarlesdegaulleairport/cdg-terminal-1.htm

Thank you in advance for any help. I'm traveling alone and don't speak french.

The RER station for Terminal 1 is quite distant from Terminal 1 (but there is an RER station. To reach it follow the signs from the baggage claim to the free CDGVAL automatic light rail system; previously, shuttle buses were used. This will be easiest for you and the CDGVAL has announcements in English.

BTW - The CDGVAL takes you to Terminal 3 as well as several parking structures - just watch for the stop for the Gare (train station).

Bon voyage
