Am travelling to Munich for Oktoberfest and I think Bayern is playing at home while we are there (24-27 Sept) - any ideas on how to get tickets? The official club website says we can send in an application, but that tickets aren't guaranteed and won't be mailed out until a couple of weeks before the game, which won't work for us, as we'll already be in Europe. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bayern Munich plays in a very large stadium (67,00 seats), and unless they are playing a big rival, there is a good chance you could buy tickets at the stadium on the day of the match. I would get the teams phone number, and call the ticket office once your in Munich and check out the availability.
