How to get from Marseille to Barcelona?

We are travelling from Nice to Marseille (by car - unless everyone thinks that's crazy), but from Marseille to Barcelona, there doesn't seem to be an easy train route. Can anyone give us some suggestions?

Fly. Spanair and Iberia both fly the Marseille to Barca route starting at about 57 euros a person plus tax.
