What's the best way to get from the Cinque Terre in Italy to Interlaken, Switzerland? I'm thinking of either driving or trains, so what is the best way for each method of transportation?

For train timetables go to www.bahn.de. Click on "Internat. Guests" for English. After you get summary timetables, click on "Details for all" to see the connecting points. You'll see that whether you take any night trains or make it a daytime trip, several changes are required.
