Hi, Can anyone tell me How much is the SNCF train ticket from Gare de Lyon station to Melun (Vaux-le-Vicomte)? I was not able to find the pricing on http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ or raileurope. I know I can also take RER-D (45 min ride) and use a daily mobilis (15.12 Euro) Thanks, Jenny

Looks like €7.80. Check out transition.com, depart from Paris Gare de Lyon. 28 minutes according to the site (plus whatever it takes you to get to the Gare de Lyon).

And I only know realized that Apple so helpfully "corrected" my spelling. For the website it should be transi lien.com Like trans-ilien but WITHOUT the hyphen. Arrrrrrrrgh!!!

It looks like the daily Mobilis would work for your trip to Melun and get you there and back. And you should be able to buy it at metro station OR train station.
