I am thinking there should be more than one day to get a feel for Lisbon?

You should allow a minimum of two full days. Three days is ideal.

i just got back from Lisbon on friday! we spent 3 weeks in Spain and Portugal. Lisbon was our last city we travelled to. We didn't love it as much as other cities that we saw. It might have been that we were burnt out from the whole trip and just ready to go home. We were there 3 nights and felt that was plenty of time-too much time. I would recommend 2 nights in Lisbon, you can email me personally if you have any more questions!
