I heard it is a 45 minute beautiful hike, but how strenuous is the walk? Any other ways to get there?? How much is the bus? Thanks!

The hike is easy...completely flat on the valley floor. Only other way there is via the postal bus, which is covered by the Swiss Pass.

The bus runs from the Lauterbrunnen train station to Stechelberg. As I recall, the fare was about 7-8CHF each. But, we had our half-fare card and it was 50% less. It's only a 12 minute or so ride. The bus stop in Stechelberg is in the gondola station that takes you to Gimmelwald.
