Hotes in Bayeux - Hotel Churchil or Hotel d'Argouges or something else?

We are spending one night in Bayeux and I think I have narrowed my hotel selection down to either the Hotel Churchill or Hotel d"Argouges. We are a family of 3 adults (husband, wife and 21 year old daughter). We would prefer a larger bed for husband and wife. Can anyone give us your comments as to which hotel to stay at and why? I thank you in advance for your reply.

We stayed at Hotel Reine Mathilde in late March
http://www.hotel-bayeux-reinemathilde.fr/ Really enjoyed it. Room was large, and clean. It has a lovely restaurant downstairs. The view out of our window overlooked the Bayeux Notre dame Cathedral..breathtaking when lit up at night. It is near the Churchill, if you need a point of reference. Within walking distance to the tapestry. We walked from the train station (and back, when leaving)maybe 1/2 mile.

I stayed at the Hotel d'Argouges last year on a RS tour and it was very nice. I think my room had a king size bed-it was in the annex.
Also, I loved the fact there was a laundromat across the street and it was just down the street from the central part of town.

I was very happy during our 3 night stay at d'Argouges. Our room was spacious, and they provided on-site parking. Also, walking disance to any number of restaurants.

I highly recommend Hotel d"Argouges. We've stayed there at least 6 times b/c we love it. The owner, Mme Ropartz, and her staff are really wonderful. The hotel looks like a manor house and has lovely gardens. It's situated down a long driveway off the street so it's very quiet. They serve a great breakfast, the rooms and bathrooms are large, very clean, beds very comfortable. It's a treat to stay here.

Russ, We were traveling with our adult son a year age and spent 3 nights at the Hotel d'Argouges. We had a beautiful huge room! Great service, breakfast etc. Good location to see the town and wonderful restaurants. We used a couple of the restaurants in the Rick Steves book.
