My wife is very determined to have a view of the Eiffel Tower from our hotel room. Any suggestions?
From my bathroom window of Hotel Beaugency (in Rick's Paris book), just off of Rue Cler, I could see the Eifel Tower. Some rooms on the upper floors probably have better views. The rooms in this hotel, however, are VERY small.
Fred,
We stayed in the Royal Phare in the 7th. We were on the 6th floor in the back of the hotel and had a view of the top part of the tower over some buildings behind us. If you'll message me with your email address I can send you a photo to see what our view was.
Fred, you might satisfy her with the promise of a very nice hotel in the area in which you both would like to spend time....but promise her the best view in the world with an late evening (from eight to say 9:30) viewing of the Eiffel Tower from the steps of the Palais de Chaillot (Trocadero) ....bring some Champagne to enjoy along with the view!
If you want an inexpensive room with an Eiffel Tower view then by all means choose the Royal Phare. There is no air-conditioning, but the location is perfect. There is a metro station at the front door along with 2 ATM machines just beside the front door. A supermarket next door as well as boulangeries and patisseries all around. Rue Cler is just around the corner.
Hi Fred, I just recieved a beautiful picture from my sister, who was in Paris yesterday. It was taken from her room and she had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower.city apartahotel paris tour Eiffel.(don't know the price, but check it out)
She told me she wanted to stay all day long in her room.
Room number 3002.
I hope this could be useful. Nice trip.
(trying my best with English, sorry any mistakes)
