Has anyone stayed at Villa Glanum in St Remy? I have been trying to find reviews of it but they are all from 2007 and I don't know how up to date they would be. OR if anyone knows of a good reasonable hotel in that area, I am going for my honeymoon in July:)
Can't help you with the Villa Glanum but please consider the Hotel Sous les Figuiers (Under the Figs.) We stayed there last May and hated to leave. It really feels more like a B&B than a hotel. It is 1-2 blocks from the town center yet feels secluded. The owners are so friendly. The breakfast is wonderful with fresh juice, applesauce, fresh breads they bake themselves, croissants, pain au chocolat, and coffee made to order. It is set back from the street and is surrounded by trees including fig trees. We had a room without a terrace and it was lovely--looked newly remodeled and tastefully decorated. But for your honeymoon you'll probably want a room with a terrace. It opens onto the garden with the fig trees. There is also a swimming pool. One of the owners is an artist and has her studio right there. Check out the website--the pictures really don't do it justice. You will love St. Remy. It is a lovely small town with many good restaurants and shops. A wonderful chocolate shop--Joel Durand.
DO NOT MISS the Wednesday Farmer's Market when the whole town center is transformed and you get to see all the local townspeople buying fruits, vegetables, cheese, honey, bread, etc.

Good luck with your honeymoon plans and congratulations!
Thanks! I was looking at that one too so I think I will go for it!
You will not be disappointed. It really is perfect for a honeymoon. Quiet and private. Enjoy!
