Hotel Kummer is on the Mariahilfer Strasse, on top of an U-3 station, and a short walk from the Ringstrasse. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and everyone is very friendly.

We have stayed at the Pension Pertschy near the Hofburg and were quite happy with it. We also stayed at the Central Apartments Vienna near the Naschmarkt for a self catering week last August. Clean and comfortable

Pension Suzanne is where I usually stay since I'm usually there for the opera. It's the perfect location for Vienna's center and buffet breakfast is included in the price. http://www.pension-suzanne.at/english/index_2.htm
