Hotels near Train Station in Munich, Etc&#59;

In the past, contributors to this website have recommended a number of hotels in Munich. I have listed some of them on my Munich webpage. Note, Marienplatz is a short S-bahn ride from the Hauptbahnhof. Do you really mean Offenberg, in Bavaria, or Offenburg, across the river from Strasbourg, in Baden-Wuerttemberg?

" Reasonable price" does not fit well in the same sentence as Luzern, especially right downtown close to the station. If I were staying there, I would probably choose the Waldstätterhof, which is very close to the train station. Or cross the Kapellebrücke to the old town and look at hotel des Alpes or Hotel des Balances, which are less modern/ more traditional.
