My wife and I will be visiting Barcelona the fourth week in April and would like to find a modest cost (110 € or less) hotel in Barcelona. We have modest lodging needs: clean, private bathroom and less than 4 flights of stairs to reach the room. As we will travel predominately by Metro and bus, we would like a hotel that is within a short walk (5 min) of a Metro station. I'd appreciate any recomendations.

I stayed at Hotel Lloret in Barcelona in 2008. It seems to fit your requirements. I liked the location on Las Ramblas; my room was off the street so not noisy. There is one flight of stairs up to reception; an elevator is available from the first floor on up. www.hlloret.com The bus from the airport stops about a block from the hotel and Metro is also close. It's a great area for walking.
