Hotels in Zurich?

Can anyone suggest a well-located, clean, safe and quiet hotel in Zurich for late October? Somewhere in the US$100 to $120 would be ideal. We're leaving for Europe in a couple of days, so if you can get back to me on this soon I'd appreciate it!

Zürich is an expensive city, and most hotels will be over that budget. You might try Hotel Bristol, which has clean, bright and spacious rooms (at least ours was); well-located a few blocks from the main train station. Double rooms start at 160 CHF, but will be higher if there is a convention in town. http://www.hotelbristol.ch/home_e.html

We have stayed at Hotel Leoneck (www.hotel-leoneck.ch) 5 times and at Hotel Adler (www.hotel-adler.ch) 1 time. We stayed at Hotel Adler a couple of weeks ago only becuase Hotel Leoneck was fully booked. Hotel Adler is a bit nicer and more modern, but both places are very clean and are within easy walking distance to the train station and all areas of interest in Zurich. However, both places cost a bit more than $100-$120. Our room at Hotel Adler cost CHF 210. Hotel Leoneck is a little bit cheaper than that.

I stayed at Hotel Limmathof a brief walk from the main train station in Zurich. It's an excellent location to shopping and you take a 10 minute train ride to the airport.

Zurich is a commercial city--expensive on weekdays and less on weekends. I stayed at the Hotel Bristol, got a decent weekend rate, and would do so again. It's only 2 blocks from the train station--an unforgettable walk over the Limmat River just before sunrise for an early train. It's also at the top of the only charming street in Zurich. It's pedestrian-only and full of restaurants and street performers after dark. This was on a Saturday evening.
