I am looking for a not too pricey (up to 150 euros) with good reviews...clean...centrally located to most of the sighs...near the Seine would be nice. I am going in the middle of September.

Have you checked out www.booking.com? I recently booked a hotel in the 5th through them. They have pictures and reviews of each property. They do not require pre-payment -- you hold the reservation with a credit card, but pay the hotel directly upon arrival and their cancellation policy is very flexible. They list hotels by arrondisement and have maps showing where each hotel is. I think TripAdvisor.com is another good resource.

I just returned from a week's stay at Hotel Lyon-Mulhouse (recommended in RS books). It's in the Marais and less than a block from the Bastille metro stop. Great location.

wow, might be harder then you think , September is super busy time and you haven't booked yet!!
These are normally within price range but will likely be higher in September , but are clean and in good locales.
