Hi Everyone! I am traveling to St-Malo in mid may and wanted to know if anyone can recommend a nice, modest hotel in St-Malo that overlooks the water. Preferably under $200 a night. Something just small and quaint but something that overlooks the water. Thank you so much!!

St Malo is a walled port. All of the interesting areas are within the walls. The walls are higher than the buildings, thus . . .

As Ed said. I would be very tempted to try and find a hotel within the walls. got to be a fun place to stay

Since nobody's come up with a better idea: I usually stay at Le Croiseur (intra muros). It's right near all the good places to eat and only a couple of minute walk to one of the sets of stairs that go up onto the walls.
