Burgos: Hotel Meson Del Cid (first location and view, our window was right looking at the cathedral just amazing, parking garage available, second the restaurant was to die for . such amazing food, the lamb so smooth. )
Santilliana del mar “ Casa del Organista( yes a delightful little town, go see the church and the cloister the have its worth it, this little place is run smooth and with care, English is spoken the food for breakfast great and the room superb, parking in the back of the building, incredible helpful)
Madrid: Hotel Europa ( great location right on placa, del Sol, so its loud but the sound proofing is pretty good, food in café downstairs is also great try the paella ,not good if you have a car since its right in pedestrian area, , it has tour groups also but the location and the price is unbeatable)
Other than this make sure to check if the place you want to see is under renovation like a lot in Spain is right now
