Hotels in Sevilla, spain

We're driving thru Andalucia and planning 2 nites in Sevilla. Is staying in Triana near the river a good choice? Compared to staying in the old town, hotels seem a bit nicer, a bit cheaper, and I notice many of Rick's restaurants are over in that area. Thanks for all your help!

That should be a good choice. My preference would be closer to the Cathedral, The Old Quarter, etc.,
