I was wondering if anyone knows of an inexpensive hotel/b&b in Paris for about 100$ a night.??? help travelgirl

Check ibishotels.com. The chain is part of the giant Accor hotel empire, and they have several hotels in Paris. There ae 3 or 4 right close to Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est for under $100....depending on when you're travelling.

How long are you staying? If close to a week, a studio or 1 bedroom apt. would be cheaper and lots more room. Way below a 100 per night.

We stayed at the Hotel L'Empereur (recommended in Rick's guide) which in 2008 was about that cost. GREAT location, looking out over Les Invalides Dome and less than 5 minutes from Rue Cler and 10 minutes from the Eiffel tower (and close to 2 convenient Metro stops). Ask for a 5th floor balcony room!
