I strongly recommend the IBIS hotel Frankfurt Centrum (sometimes also referred to as IBIS hotel Frankfurt Friedensbrücke). It's only 500m from the Hauptbahnhof from where the S-Bahn takes you straight into the airport in 18 minutes (trains run every 10 mins, S8 and S9 lines), all rooms are air conditioned, you're down by the river where there are plenty of restaurants and bars, the walk into the shopping district of downtown takes about 20mins all along the river.
