We are traveling to Portugal in October and looking for suggestions for hotels in Lisbon. Also traveling to Salema, Obidos and Coimbra. Any favorites to share with us?

In Lisbon we always recommend Residencial Florescente which is also recommended by RS. It is located on a pedestrian street easy walking distance to train and metro. Also walking distance to several of the major Pracas, restaurants, and sights.

Thanks for your response. We are using RS book for hotels and touring throughout Spain and Portugal, but I couldn't decide which one in Lisbon. Just needed an extra nudge to choose one.

I also loved Residencial Florescente don't miss Restaurant Bom Jardim for their chicken!
