I'm hoping some of the more experienced travelers on this site can help me. I'm six weeks out from a month long trip to Germany and Austria. As part of my preparations I was contacting each of the hotels I'll be staying at to re-confirm my reservations. The hotel in Coburg I had made a reservation with back in October forgot to hold the room despite my having secured it with a credit card. I've checked a couple of other hotels in the area however they have no available rooms. Can anyone suggest a good hotel that I can contact. I'll need a double room. Thanks!

I can not help you. You might consider using hrs.com. It will tell you which hotels are still available. They have a decent customer rating service. Even if you decide not to use them for the reservation, you will know some hotels to contact. Personally I use hrs.com whenever I can as it often beats the hotel's own website in terms.
