We will be traveling to Brussels in June. Suggested hotels? Something not too expensive but comfortable. We will be 2 adults and a teenager. Thanks for your help.
Checkout the Ibis or Novotel hotels near the Grand Place/Central Station.
Depending on weekend or weekday stays, you might want to check the Marriott Brussels. We are doing a weekend stay at 110 Euros per night (includes breakfasts).
We were in Brussels in October and liked a hotel named Les Ecrins--it's in a good location near the metro stop, with lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Grand Place. We were upgraded to an apartment which might work out well for three!
Because Brussels is mainly a business rather than tourist city you can get quite cheap advance booking deals at more expensive hotels if you are staying at the weekend. You can search and book at http://www.brusselsinternational.be/
We've stayed twice at 2G04 Quality Hostel in Brussels. Once we had a fabulous loft-type room, very quiet; the other time it was noisier. But cheap and interesting!
