Would welcome your comments if you have stayed in any of the hotels in Bayeux listed Rick's guide to France
I stayed at the Churchill Hotel in Fall 2009. Hotel was fine, location was very convenient. I'd stay there again.
I can't remember if it's listed in the guide, but we stayed at the Hotel de Sainte Croix. Trip Advisor rates it the #2 B&B in Bayeux. It's a 4-room hotel that's well-located in town. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Florence, who runs the place, speaks decent English and serves a wonderful breakfast.
Karen, we stayed at the Hotel d'Argouges and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were large and clean - some of the nicest we stayed in the entire trip. Breakfast was above average. Good location near many shops and restaurants. Hope you have a great time in France!
Another vote for Hotel d'Argouges. We've stayed there many times and really love it. It looks like a manor house, pretty garden, off street parking, large bathrooms, very clean. The owner, Mme Ropartz, and her staff are exceptionally nice and helpful.
Another vote for Hotel de St. Croix. We thought it was just about perfect. Great, lovely big beds, large bathroom, wonderful hostess and fabulous breakfast. Plus, the place is gorgeous.
Hotel de St. Croix.
