We are looking for recommendations for a hotel in Bayeux for 2 nights in December. Not fancy, comfortable and reasonable.
Thanks in advance!

We stayed at the Hotel de St.Croix and found it to be not only very lovely and charming, but also reasonably priced. I think a double runs about 75 euro per night and includes a delicious, breakfast buffet.

We love Hotel D'Argouges, where we've stayed 4 times. Very reasonably priced, good breakfast included, beautiful hotel and garden, wonderful owner (Madame Ropartz) and staff. The rooms are simple but large with comfortable beds and nice, big, clean bathrooms. It's in the heart of the charming town, with a great outdoor market right in front of the hotel on Saturdays.
We also liked Hotel d'argouges--nice room, good location, quiet, and excellent parking. The owner has the cutest French bulldog!
And a third vote for Hotel D'Argouges. I agree with the previous comments.
And a fourth vote for D'Argouges! We stayed summer of 2008 and really enjoyed it. Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, and decent location.
They have a Christmas card from RICK STEVES tacked up in the foyer. ooo la la!
It was a good place to stay and they shipped back my daughter's blanket after she left it there.
Thanks one and all for your suggestions!!!
