Hotels in Bastogne

I recently corresponded with Hotel Giorgi in Bastogne via email. I asked how I would be able to reserve the room prior to getting there. The hotel sent me an email with their bank account information. Is this typical of smaller hotels? Or is it a scam?

It's not a scam. The hotel sent you this information so your bank can wire your deposit to them.
