We're traveling to Spain in October and are open to suggestions for a hotel in a centrally located area in Barcelona for the first 3 nights. Any ideas?
Just got back yesterday from staying at the Hotel Granvia. Great central location, quite rooms, comfortable, great breakfast and near three metro lines. Good rates is you book a few weeks ahead.
We spent 3 nights at Hotel Jazz in April, and loved the hotel. It is very modern and has a roof top terrace with pool, which we enjoyed in the evening. The location, close tomPlaca Catalunya, is perfect. If you arriving by plane, the airport bus stop is just a block away at Placa Universitat.
Check out the Hotel Continental. There are two. One is right on La Rambla and the other is not far. Both very centrally located. Free 24 hour snack bar, wine, beer, juice.
We enjoyed L'Antic Espai, a small boutique hotel with extremely helpful owners, a few blocks from Las Ramblas. They are very responsive to inquiries and rated highly on Trip Advisor.
My husband and I stayed at The Five Rooms. Great location. Good price. Just the right amount of fun factor. Would definitely recommend it. Check it out.
