Hotels in and around Kitzingen

I'm open to strong recommendations for hotels in Wurzburg, but I would really rather stay in the Kitzingen area.

A few years ago, we stayed in the lovely little town of Iphofen. It's about 11 km's from Kitzingen. We stayed at the zum Hirschen, a very clean, reasonably priced hotel just a block from the town square. We really loved the area. Another little jewel we discovered on a day trip was Dettelbach. I was stationed in Würzburg and can understand your preference to stay where you were assigned. Part of the pleasure is walking known paths.
