Looking for advice for hotel in Caen. RS only recommends one hotel - hotel Bernieres - in the RS France 2008. tripadvisor.com has old reviews of 2007 and 2005 which are not complimentary. Has management changed and renovations to justify the recommendation? Any tips on other hotels in Caen?

The Holiday Inn often gets the best reviews.
