My husband and I will be taking the train back from the Loire Valley (St Pierre Des Corps) to CDG on the evening of Nov 10 for our flight back to the states on the morning of Nov 11. Does anyone have a suggestion for a hotel near the airport that is clean and comfortable but not too expensive?

After staying at the Ibis Hotel located near Terminal 3 last summer, I wouldn't do anything else. By reserving on-line and choosing a prepay, no cancellation option, it cost just 59 euros. You walk out the door a few steps and are at the interterminal shuttle train. Clean room, comfortable bed. No charm, but that's not what we were there for. BTW, you need to be careful to reserve the correct Ibis. There is another listed as being at CDG. It's actually nearby and has a bus to the terminals, but the Terminal 3 location is unsurpassed for convenience.

My sister and I did this exact same thing a week ago! We took the 4:56 TGV from St.Pierre des Corps on a Friday evening, stayed at the Etap Hotel by CDG and flew home the next morning. I think it was 45 Euros and it was clean and convenient. We walked out our hotel and caught a shuttle bus in the parking lot which got us to Terminal 2 in about 10 minutes. The bus left about every 20 minutes.
