hotels and restaurants near cdg airport

Hi, We will be staying overnight at CDG airport because we need to meet our tour group next morning before 8am. We will be arriving day before at ll:30am.We have looked at Ibis and Novotel near airport and Novotel Wellness in Roissy which requires a shuttle transfer. Where do you pick up shutle for hotels near Roissy?
Any suggestions for one night stay of the three hotels? Any suggestions for breakfast the next morning or dinner that night? Most restaurants at airports are not very good and hotel restaurants look expensive. Thanks Kathy

The Ibis, Novotel and Pullman hotels all have locations on the CdG grounds, as does Sheraton. The first three are part of the giant Accor hotel chain with more branches in the area. The joint shuttle for the off-site hotels operates from the roof of the railway station, coincidentally adjacent to the Sheraton. Here is a blow-up diagram http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/Resources/8102d608-a1c2-42cb-8252-f65f9acba3ae-plangareSNCF.pdf Shuttles for other hotels run from there too. Presumably you will want to spend your afternoon in Paris and can take the RER 2 whether you're staying on the airport grounds or connect via a brief hotel shuttle ride.
The airport's official website has lots of good advice and useful maps to help you navigate http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/home/

Over the years we've stayed at so many CDG hotels that I can't even count them anymore, from the inexpensive Etap to the expensive Sheraton. I'd go back to any of them. But the most convenient are the two(evidently now three) at Terminal three, the Ibis and the Novotel, and of course the Sheraton in terminal 2, if you want to pay for it. However, I'm with Irv (who answered your other post) on the Ibis: simple lino floors, small bathrooms, soap in a dispenser, small desk, but clean, free wifi, and a darn good breakfast, even if it is made in a central kitchen and shipped in frozen. I also agree with Irv to have dinner in town and take the RER back after dinner. We've had dinner at the Ibis; it's not awful, but you can do better in town. We stayed at the Novotel Wellness last summer. It's a couple of steps up. Carpet, comfy couch, room slightly larger, frige and coffee in room if I remember. Nice big indoor pool and spa facilities. We didn't use any of them. We didn't even eat in the restaurant, but went to the Mercure up the street for a pretty good dinner. You have to wait for the shuttle bus; sometimes it's there right away, somethimes not. If it's a real emergency (as we had last sumemr) the hotel will call a special CDG-only taxi for you. It was 20 euros and goes only between the hotels and the airport, door to door. Ask at the front desk.

I frequently stay at the Novotel Wellness and the Mercure just down the Street. I enjoy going to the Marriott lobby bar/restaurant for dinner. They have an excellent pizza and once had quiche/salad combo as well as a good ion of wine. There is a nice little park across from the Mercure and the Marriott. You can walk into the village of Roissy but not
much there except a grocery store and post office. The shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes.
