Has anyone stayed at the Pullman? Any other reasonably priced suggestions located near the "old town" area? Thank you!

Erin, how's your German? The link Steve posted goes to an English language website that has a link to www.augustinerkloster.de, which appears to be entirely in German (that and the fact that if you stay there, you have to thrash yourself with a willow branch 3 times a day). A few pages into that website gets you here, which shows a double room (2 bed room, Zweibettzimmer) for €39 pP (€48,50 for a single, Einzelzimmer) and has a link to a booking form, also in German.
If you go to www.erfurt.de, click on "English" (upper right), then "sightseeing", then on "Tourism company", it will take you to an English website with accommodations for Erfurt. I noticed some at a more favorable price than Pullman.

Thanks, Lee! I'll give that link a look and see what hotels they suggest-- as my German is not very good at all....
