We will be there just one night and need a triple ( two adults and a 12 year old). Looking at Hotel Wallis, Eurostars, and on the high end the Sofitel. Want to be centrally located. Need guidance. There is a place widely recomended ... Something like Motel Tor but they say we need two rooms. Little help? As I said we have just one night and I may be willing to spring for a higher class place. I just don't know!
We stayed at the Hotel Blauer Bock with 4 to a room. It was tight but workable. http://www.hotelblauerbock.de/start_en.htm Good breakfast and a nice staff. The location was great just off Viktualienmarkt, a block or so from Marienplatz. Regards, Gary
This summer I stayed at the Hotel Am Viktualienmarkt and had the top floor apartment which slept 4. I have also stayed at the Hotel Uhland, which had a nice sun room with daybed attached to the room. I would stay either place again, and each would easily fullfil your needs. Hotel Am Viktualienmarkt is more centrally located, but Hotel Uhland is easy walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof. As a matter of fact, I already have reservations for Hotel Uhland in May 2012.
THANKS. Made a room at Eurostars I'll let you know how it is. Look OK on TripAdvisor. So - now my trip is complete! Night 1: Greifensteiner Hof - Wurzburg Night 2: Barockhotel am Dom - Bamberg Nights 3 and 4: Hotel garni Probst - Nurnberg Nights 5 and 6: Hotel Weisse Taube - Salzberg
Night 7: Eurostars - Munich Now debating train pass or no pass. Day 1 will be a train from Cologne to Wurzburg. Trying to determine which is the better choice ... Lee?
