Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently?? The on-line reviews look pretty good and the price is right. Any input on location, neighborhood? Thanks!

There's a hostel with a name that's real close on the butte -- kind of on the NE side maybe. Loud as heck when I walked by it late one afternoon, but nothing wrong with the neighborhood at all. Are you sure it's a hotel?

I googled it and it's by Place Monge. Not my favorite neighborhood, but there's nothing wrong with it as far as I know and I'm sure there are many who do like that area. Don't know anything about the hotel itself but it gets good reviews on TA.

If it's where Susan said it was, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the area. I used to stay around there all the time just moved to another area I've grown to like better. The only argument I could make would be to move a half mile northeast for walking convenience to more sights, but even when I've stayed over there, I often walk back to where you're looking to wander around and eat. I know nothing about the hotel, but it's probably about like all the others in that area. Go for it, if the deal's good.
